Hi,
I am permanent resident and I am planning to invite
my mother to visit me. I have question regarding the
items 9 and 10 in the I-134.

The item 9 says "That i have previously submitted afidavits of support
for the following persons".

I have not submitted any I-134 previously to any one. However,
during i-485 process I have submitted the "form i-864 affidavit of
support" for my wife and son.

now what should be written in question #9?

Similarly item #10 in I-134 says "That I have submitted visa petition to BCIS on behalf of the following persons"

Will that above form I-864 considered as visa pititon? since in that i-864
it is written "I am filing an alien worker petition on behalf of the intending
immigrant, who is related to me as wife and son"

If this is considered as visa petition what should be written in
the question #10 in I-134.

I appreciate your input.
Sincerely

{Normally if you have submitted an affidavit of support anytime earlier
you would say 'yes' to this question, even if the person to whom you
have given this affidavit is not longer in United States. In your case
also you would say 'yes' and list the names of your wife and son. There is
also another question that asks for people who are financially dependent
on you. You would enter their names in this item also.}

Similarly item #10 in I-134 says "That I have submitted visa petition to BCIS on behalf of the following persons"

{Since you are saying you have submitted I-864 it is slightly confusing,
because I-864 is applicable (as far as I know) to those cases where
you own 5% or more ownership in the company that has sponsored
your GC petition OR your family were part of a family petition. In such
case you would probably say 'Yes' to this question.}

If this is considered as visa petition what should be written in
the question #10 in I-134.

I appreciate your input.
