I submitted my application in August 06 under Federal Skilled worker Category. CIC in Buffalo send back the forms cos I forgot to put N/A in one section of the form. The returned form had a date stamped by the BUffalo Center. I sent the completed application form immediately and last week I recieved a letter with my file # and the date my file was created.

When I checked my status online it had a different date and also mentioned that they have started processing my application on that date.

My question is which date is the application recieved date?
1. The initial date stamped on my application, when they returned it.
2. Date mentioned on the letter I recieved from Buffalo.
3. Date mentioned on the website: "Date when the Center started processing my application.

Please advice.

I would think it is no. 3. Just curious which section is that. Did they also return your check with the application? I sent my application last month and have not received my AOR yet but my check (money order) has been cashed already.
