My current employer has filed for my H1-B visa which got stamped as on 29th December,2004. I was told I would be flying abroad on an assignment immediately. Unfortunately things didnt work out as planned. Right now I am in India. If I quit my current job and join another employer, can my current employer do anything to the effect of terminating my visa? How difficult would it be for me to change my employer? Any penalty I would have to pay ??
