Query for 485 when visa is unavailable

Hi
Suppose your case is past due but after affected by retrogression.If you call service center ,has anybody got the answer "due to visa number unavailable its pending".As mine is past due but retrogressed,they don't tell me why its pending? I checked it .I wanted to hear that but they did not and told me that if you ask for referal query then we will reply by mail.Any body with similar exp ?

I believe they wouldn't like practice ppl to send inquery unless case date is due, I believe their translation of retrogress is 'Duck in DeepFreezer'.

Here is simple ie. ppl who file I-130 for relative and they get letter after apvd, that clearly bold, loudly says 'Do not contact to them before that date....." they will contact u after v-no is available.

I belive It starts soon when 140/485 is submitted, and ends....................................................................

......... still checking....... ........ like Indian movie 'Amar Akbar Anthony' .... ..and Mr, applicant gets old.. and his kids grow.... in bottom line 3 hour movie = 3 year or 30 yrs s-check .
