Query after reciving GC

Hi All,

I got my GC stamped on Jan 5 th , got plastic card some time in in July. My wife got plastic card in May. I resigned from my Company. Today I got a mail from CSIS which noted as follows.

"On December 19, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence
or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what
additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is
required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the
notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283"


Did it happen to any body else?If yes can some share their experiences.

This is scary!

What service center are you at? They probably need evidence that you are still working with your employer. I have not heard of them doing that. But they may have started to check randomly. Scary!

IS it regarding your job or something else? you are not giving enough info to get an answer, I know a guy who got called for an interview 3 months after he got the Plastic.

It is from Nebrasca Service center. I am going to call my attorney tomorrow to find out what is in.I will update you guys as soon as I hear some thing from the attorney.

Got information from attorney

Hi Folks,

Sorry for getting back little late. My Attorney sent me the copy of RFE. It is an REF asking for additional information for I-90 (Application for Replacement lawful Permanemt Card) application. I never requested for replacement card. It looks like they sent me this letter by mistake. That's what my lawyer also told me(that they might have sent by mistake).

Do you guys see some thing wrong or any other reasons, ideas....?

Received RFE on I-485 for my I-90 case

Hi,

Today, I have received RFE for I-485 with reference to I-90 application: It shows:

1) make a copy of this letter and green card and keep the copies.
2) attach the incorrect card to the bottom of this letter
3)submit any evidence that supports your claim.
4)submit two color passport-style photos
5)mail all the stuff above with this letter to the address shown below.

So no problem. I am going to respond soon.
