Hello Gurus,

I have 2 questions about this I-485 Processing.

1) Is Biometrics notice and Finger Printing notice is same thing or

different ?
2) I applied my I-140 and I-485 from NSC center in Mar-2005. I am

not from Retrogressed Affected Countries. My application was based

on a Substitution Labour that has a PD of Apr 2001. Now my question

is that in my case as i have substitution labour does the PD

approvals will be applied on my case also or my case will go based

on I-485 Notice Date that is Mar-2005 ?

FYI: I got my I-140 approval just in 2 months i.e. May-2005.

My understanding is Bio collect all info needed for your plastic card (real card) (Signature, photo and one finger print which will show up on your green card). Bio has nothing to do with security check, but Finger print serves as security check, they will sent your finger print to FBI to run computer and find out any matches with crimal record.
