I am planning to start a computer consulting firm in california. Right now, I have just two employees including me. The question I have is, if I get a three month project in Texas, does that mean that I am doing out of state business in Texas. So, should I qualify to do business in Texas and should I pay the franchise fees and everything in that state also.
Please help me understand the concept of qualifying to do business.
