Qestion about the automatic message from INS

Hi everbody;
First let me give you my details.
RD 03/02/2001
ND 03/27/2001
FP 04/04/2002
RFE 05/18/2002

Last night I have check INS automatic messaging to see if they have received my FRE respond. The message kind of confuesed me. Here is the message:
"On July 11 2002 we received your response of RFE. It is taken between 390-420 days for us to process this type of case. However, because preliminary processing time was completed before we requested aditional material, remaining processing time at this satge of this case is approx. 420 days. You will receive written decision on this case."

So, for my understnding, from at this point I have another 420 days. But it does not make sense, does it?

Is anybody heard the same message?

Mine says the same too

my details rd 05/01/01, nd 05/17/01, rfe(emp verification) recd by ins on 04/11/02 - avm plays the same message. i spoke to an iio and she said it could be a mistake, check back with us in 2 weeks..its awful to hear that it would take 420 more days even after responding to an rfe...gc sucks!

I had a similar message but it does not matter. i got approved within 3 weeks after that message

Same here I got approved within 3 weeks
Rfe response recvd on 06/04/2002 and approved on 06/20/2002
These are small goof ups compared to the bigger ones INS does.
