Ladies and gentlemen,

Please let me know whether using AP invalidates H1.I am currently on H1 and is expiring mid feb.I am planing to Visit India and get married before I get approval and planing to return on AP.will I be able to use my H1 after getting approval once i return on AP and get my spouse on H4 ?.
Guys please reply asap, I am really worried ......

If H1 is valid and u r not using EAD then AP is not needed to go out and come back.
Bottomline, using any one of EAD/AP invadlidates H1B status.
