Publication and Citation Record

Hello Guys,

One of the most common RFEs issued by the USCIS in EB-1(A)/EB-1(B)/EB-2 (NIW) petitions requests that the petitioner prove that his/her publication and/or citation record be "better/outstanding/" that his/her peers from the same or similar field.

This is a highly subjective matter since these records vary significantly from field to field.

Is anyone aware of any reference that can be included in the petition letter that address this potential RFE.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Good question. The IO can always compare the credentials of those who write letters for you. An assumption here is that they are from the same field as well. You may want to read some of the administrative decisions posted online by the AAO. They directly address this issue.
