My fiancee and I are getting married in december.
I live in texas and she is working towards a texas license. She has new york license at this point.
She has job offers in NY ( on opt ). She wants to take them up temporarily.
She doesnt want to work there for too long. A few months is all she wants to do. we will be both travelling to India.
The company is willing to sign for any papers she might want them to. But since she isn't working for too long how does this affect the GC processing ?
1. Can the gc still be processed even after she quits.
2. Can she transfer her GC to another company, when she gets her texas license, without any penalities. What stage can she transfer.
3. Are there companies like H1base.com that will be useful in this scenario ??
4. Are there any issues coming back to the US on OPT ? ( Will be in India for 2 months after working for a few months on her OPT)
