psychotic disorder and immigration

Hi Everyone,

My mother has a consular interview coming up soon, she has had psychotic disorder for 10 years now and her medical examiner has added that to her medical exam report based on her psychiatrist's evaluation. The evaluation notes that she has been stable for 4 years under her current medication. Does anyone know if the consular will deny her an immigrant visa based on her medical history?

Any comments or suggestions?

I read they don't get Green cards to people with phychological disorders.

But she's been pretty stable for 4 years that's good will deeply depend on the IO...
