It appears to be a pathetic situation for India. Family as well as Emplooyment based GCs appear to be getting screwed. Th new proposed point based system is also catered towards illigial imigrants so that they can accomolate points for each year they stay in USA. No mention of Labor certification for EB category that most of indians are under right now. In the nutshell USA policy now appears to be : Only get low category workers in USA instead of smart educated folks as these EB based folks compete against the native US citizens and obviouesly no one likes to have "bosses" imported. I am telling yaa, Bush is the Most bastered president USA has ever got. But as they say , people get leaders that they deserve

I agree vghc, the quality of written English is simply atrocious for many folks out here. Anybody could have typos or frame grammatically incorrect sentences. But the level of English seen here isn’t quite up to the marks, especially for skilled people. One of my pet peeves is, “Congrates”. Keep an eye on that when people start getting approved

No mention of Employment Based GC backlog
What a corrupt media and lobbying based system USA has. No mentione of what will happen to EB based GC.
read it yourself. The non approvals for EB in past several yeras is not a coinsidance. Some raskal out there does not want EB based GCs in the system now. I bet the compromise they will come up in this bill regarding the EB based system will be like this " All EB applied before 2001 ( very old date) will be given GCc right away and others should be transferred to Merrit based point system alongside uneducated folks. Agian waiting for yeras of backlog along.
