Hi,

We are going for our Medical tests next week.

Abt 3 yeasr back, my wife got the tetanus shots, valid for 10 years.
She does not have any paper-work available with her for the vaccinations taken earlier.
Do the doctors have records of vaccinations done in other states of US ?

What abt records from India ?
For example, if we have already got chicken-pox in our childhood, are we allowed to skip the chick-pox vaccination when we go for the medicals.

Does anyone have thoughts on this ?

Thanks

No your current dcotor won't have that information.
You need to call the health center where she got vaccination. They must have that record somewhere and can fax you or your doctor.

If you have written record from school, you are allowed to skip vaccination. But if you don't have any written record, then it depends upon the doctor (he/she might insists for new vaccination or just allow to skip based on your verbal record). I and my wife did not do re-vaccination for medical tests because we already got some paperworks from our junior schools (from India) describing our vaccinations (date, type etc).

take whatever records u have and show it to USCIS appointed doctor.
I know in some cases they have accepted tests done overseas.
