Proof for 7 th yr extension eligibility

Hi,
My LC has been received by GA Dept of Labor on Jan 18, 2005. but then it has been forwarded to the backlog center in Philledelphia. I emailed Philledelphia backlog center to send me a proof that my LC application has been pending more than a year. but they haven't responded to me.
Is it because I emailed them before Jan 18? or they just don't care? Or is my employer (who filed my LC) supposed to ask for the proof?

Does any body have an example petition to ask for the proof that LC has been pending more than a year?

Could be both the reasons.....I am not familiar with how things work with Georgia DOL but I am assuming they do not give out receipts acknowledging that a labor cert has been filed on so and so date since you are very anxious to get the screenshot from the BEC....

Either your employer or the attorney should do this on your behalf...Here is a sample format assuming your attorney will do this...Pls change accordingly if your employer is doing this.

The undersigned is the counsel of record for Mr. XXX. Mr. XXX currently has pending at the XXXXXXX Service Center a request to extend his H-1B into his 7th year based upon the pending Labor Certification filed by his employer, XXXX, Inc., in GOERGIA filed on or about JAN 18, 2005.
