Promotion and Change of Location (same state) after filing for 485 and <180 days

Dear Members,

Here is my situation:

  1. My 1-140 is pending approval since December 2006. My I-485 was filed on July 25th, 2007.
  2. In the meantime, I got promoted and will continue to work in the same area but will just begin managing people.
  3. Additionally, due to personal reasons, I will physically be moving within the same state with the same employer. I would continue to travel to my current location and spend most (almost 75%) of time there. However, my physcial address would change. I could give me colleagues/work address for USCIS forms purposes also.

I want to find if a) getting promotion b) moving within same state for same company in less than 180 days after filing 485 will affect my application processing.

i would really appreciate reply/information about this.
 
u should be fine....as long as your employer does not object...

But, yep, as per AC21 regulations for your 485 and I-140 to be portable...you should be engaged in the same/similar job.....Your employer needs to maintain the stance that you are still in a sam/simila job...
