I am a system analyst with IT now. There is a project manager position in my company in a different department. The department wants to hire me for that position.
1. I am on my 7th year H1B, extended from approved I140 from system analyst PERM.
2. The job function is still system analysis, but from a different perspective. It is more like from the user side, rather than the IT side which I am currently in.
What are the necessary steps to make this transfer happen?
