Promotion after getting GC

Hello,
I am getting promoted to the next level and was wondering if it impacts my GC. 485 was approved last week, and most probably I need to take on new responsibilities within the same company in a month or so.

Does anyone know if this impacts my GC status in anyway? I am not changing employers, but getting a bigger role in the same organization. How does INS view this?

Thanks
Shrikant

Document that you did not want promotion at the time of getting GC.
The company insisted upon promoting you against your original intention.

Come on! You are a PR now. Get promotion, get pay raise. Any natural career growth with time (since you mentioned "next level") is perfectly fine.

Man, you are obsessively paranoid! :)

Shrik, go ahead and get yourself a raise, a promotion, move to another group, another role. You are not doing anything unlawful that would either revoke your permanent resident status or make you a person who lacks moral character. Don't let the fear factor control you.
