Promotion after concurrent filing

My 140/485 has been filed concurrently. I am in a situation where I can easily get promotion. Is promotion allowed during greencard processing? I will be still doing technical work but more into leading role. I don't think the description of the job even after promotion will change much.

Please help me if you can.

remember that h1 and greencard are 2 different thing. as long your promotion is not significant and you properly amend your h1 (if applicable) then you should be ok.

assume you filed you labor 4 or 5 years ago and your labor states the offered position as programmer and if you get promoted to technical project manager then you might have problem in greencard interview because the officer might be skeptical to accept that you will work as a programmer again. it all depend on the level of promotion and how your lawyer deal or argue your case.
