My case is as follows.
I had applied for H1B sometime early this year and got selected in the 65k lot. My employer had applied in the open category and i have to go to my home country to get the h1b visa. The result came around June when i was here in US in a F2 visa. I got an admit from a univ and i decided to do higher studies. So went to India and got my F1 visa in august and my status is now F1.
First question
Can i use the H1B which i have got it approved after i finish my Masters and OPT (1 year - assuming the company not e-verified)? (i.e. after 3 years)
Till how many years can i prolong my h1b approval?
Second question
If yes, what is it that i should do and what the employer who applied for my H1B should do?
Since i have spent a lot of money in applying I would just want to know if i can use this and especially when i have my h1b approved but not stamped. I would like to use this after my OPT so that i need not go through H1B processing later. Please let me know on what i should be doing. Thanks.
