I believe you are testing one more time on forum people by putting spam in front of posting. I know this is very difficult part to motivate people to participate in projects like ocean etc..most of people want's everything without putting thier effort.

Inspite of all my admiration for what you are doing single handedly for the community, your selfless work and my own reluctance to reward slackers. I must say that dividing our forces into two is not the way to go about it. Due to:

1. I doubt if people who are truly lazy will be affected one way or the other by your actions,
2. It is very difficult to come up with criteria to add people to the participants list, since it is very difficult to verify who has and hasn't sent faxes/emails. Participation in town meetings is not the only form of participation. People who are helping answer queries on the forum are also very important.
3. We want to be inclusive to some extant and absorb people on the fringe who are sitting on the fence, who are lazy but not totally useless.
4. Only if people know the magnitude of the task ahead will they help, so if they don't have data, they won't know about the problem.

Here is my suggestion:
1. Short summary should be in, long summary out.
2. Spread the load and let more people participate in the data gathering.
3. It is not imperative, (though very welcome), for people to participate in the projects, in order to benefit from the community spirit that we have or are trying to have on this forum.
4. We should be extremely reluctant to back any venture that makes each of us feel like we belong to any more cliques than AOS adjustee's.

Hence, I suggest:
1. We scrap this thread.
2. Go back to a more viable solution with more community support and participation.
3. Look for volunteers from the 14 odd people who are very interested only in Project Kashmir results to help generate the results.
4. Put forth a small summary of:
a. Cases pending
b. Cases Approved in the past week
c. etc.

Sorry if I seem to be criticising you, that is not my intention. I just want this forum to be the best there is, in the most participative manner possible. And I believe that my above suggestions will help in that regard. Offcourse the final decision is up to you.
 
to I-140 and Kashmir

My company is based in CA and have filed for my I-485 which going to be 18 months old shortly.

I work for a client in KY, should I contact congressmen/women or senators in KY as per your all suggestion, how should I go about doing that. Just wanted to be clear so that I am in the correct path.

:) Your support is much welcomed. Please contact the congressperson who represents your district. In this case it will be KY. Usually Congressmen/women prefer to deal with only their constituents, and since you have a domicile in KY, that is your best bet in being heard.

Anyway, they don't care our (my ?) projects.

The criteria of this thread is very simple.
If and only if every campaign meets the target number of participations, the reports will be posted.
Otherwise, the reports will be thrown away.

But Project Kashmir is not responsible for that purpose.

But again, Project Kashmir is not responsible to bring these people into our campaigns or activities.

because it takes my time.

As I have no time to modify Project Kashmir,
I will continue this project AS IS for a while.
Of course, somebody can start new project anytime.

The reason why I am working on Project Kashmir is NOT because I want to have a lot of participants in Project Ocean campaigns.
So, if a participant in Project Ocean think he/she has a right to see Project Kashmir reports, it's totally misunderstanding.
Again, I have no obligation for Project Kashmir at all.

At last, wac02-i485-table-20040219.csv.zip has been already downloaded 21 times.
Even if the campaign #4 cannot get 30 participants, I believe at least 20 people would fax a letter to Linda Sanchez by 2/25/2004.
As I wrote before, I trust this forum members at first.
