Hello People,
Tired of going to USCIS site and checking your status. Most of
the time you do not have the wac number memorized or handy.

Then you have to go to USCIS site and type it in.

Instead of all this hassle and if you were as lazy as I am, wouldn't
you have someone deliver the status everyday to your mailbox.

Well now you can make that happen with Anaconda Mailer
sub project.

Just send an e-mail to
anaconda-mailer@comcast.net
with the following info filled in the format below

Email : johndoe@anonymous.com
Number : wac0229050000
Frequency : DAILY

The Frequency can be DAILY , WEEKLY or MONTHLY.

Accordingly you will be sent a mail every day , every week or
monthly. If you set it to daily then you will get a mail every day
about 12.45am. If you set weekly then you will receive mail every
sunday.

Subject : Daily Status for case wac0229050000

Body :
On June 5, 2002, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

I hope you find this service useful. Project Anaconda and
Project Kashmir are largely meant for the purpose of tracking
progress of 485 cases within USCIS.

It is a complicated task to go about finding 485 cases using
our software. It can involve scanning roughly million cases
for wac03 series. This ardous and lengthy task has been
accomplished for wac02 already by Kashmir and many others.
However, I am not sure if this has been done for wac 03. I
do not have the wac numbers for wac 03. Maybe Kashmir has
them.

Once you have found the right 485 wac numbers then it is a
manageable task to scan all of them on a weekend. And we do
just that for wac 02.

Currently, USCIS is mostly working on wac 02 cases and scanning
these cases gives us good idea about what they are doing.

However, a time will come when they will move past wac 02 or
reach the end. At such a time I would be mostly approved or
rejected and not interested in scanning cases anymore. When
such a time arrives I hope Kashmir and others would be around
to take on wac 03 series.

It will have to be a massive group effort. We cannot do it now.
And hence no wac03 report. I hope you understand.
 
For those who subscribed to Project Anaconda Sub project which
mails out the status daily, weekly or monthly I apologize for the
program not working as it was expected to.

I did however made major fixes to the program and so now
you should get email only according to the frequency you specified
and not daily. There was a bug in the program which caused it
to ignore specified frequency and send mails daily.

Since then all issues have been fixed and Project Anaconda Mailer
is working fine.

I will also work on a way to allow people to
subscribe/unsubscribe using just e-mail. Today I have to manually
add / remove numbers but in future I will automate this.

Hope you find this service useful.

I also plan on extending this so that a notification can be sent
to your cell phone when your status changes.
 
how do I unsubscribe to the service

could not find any instruction to unsusbcribe from the service. Please provide the necessary info

- Can we use this to track I-140/I-765 and other immigration related issues or is it only for I-485 and also is there any specific center that it would work with or is it for all.
