Project abroad while I 485 pending adjudication

I had worked on a project overseas owing to which I paid more taxes abroad than in the U.S. in the past year.
I have a RFE for employment letter, pay stubs and W2.
Would INS question as to why I paid more taxes abroad ?
Any input is appreciated

There is no problem. As long as you keep your W2s and I-94 copies, it should be fine.
