I am planning to get started on obtaining my J1 waiver of HRR based on No objection. My question is : if i transfer J1 sponsor programs while the waiver application is pending, then do i have to start the waiver process over again for the new J1 program sponsor? Or does the waiver approval (when it comes through) applicable to my J1 visa per se and not just to the initlal program sponsor.
Also, in the final step of the waiver application, is there a statement of reason to be included? If yes, what should be the gist of this statement? Is there a better chance of the waiver being approved closer to the end of the J1 program? Are chances of approval reduced if i apply in the early stages of my J1?
