processing times on www.immigration.gov??

it's not unusual for processing times to not be updated every month. I have seen them go without an update for over two months. It really doesn't matter much since these times don't mean much anyway.

Thanks, johannK. I was always under the impression that these processing times were used as a measure of how fast or slow the USCIS was going.

What is the reason that processing times for all DO's for the N-400 is listed at about 7 months but the actual processing times is way different at different DO's as evidenced by the postings of different people on this forum?

I've even seem them stating they're now processing applications from last year, even though many had gotten their N-400's approved and become citizens. They're very inaccurate...

I wish there were some accurate way to determine processing times, so many families are separated and have no way to make plans. My wife got her CRI in December and we still have nothing on my 5 year old daughter. Any ideas out there?
