How should I correctly interpret processing times for I-485 ?
USCIS in Vermont shows I-485 - Jan-2002, does it mean that petitions from this date are being transferred to local CIS offices ? If true, my local service center shows I-485 - Dec 15-2002, does it mean that they currently interview applicants whose petitions were transferred to local offices from a regional CIS (e.g. Vermont) on this date ?
Finally, does it mean that in order to estimate whole I-485 wait time, should I add VT USCIS wait time and local office CIS wait time ?
Other question - EAD, USCIS in VT shows processing Sep-2003, whereas my local USCIS shows Jul-2003 ? Which one should I follow ?
