Processing Times for I140

I saw strange categories E11, E21,E31 etc published by Vermont Service Center for I-140. What category will I-140 EB2 fall under?

Approximately what time frame people are getting I-140 approvals? I heard some people who applied in Septemeber got their I-140 approved, some people who applied in March 2002 didn't receive I-140 approval? Is there any strategy or order VSC is following to process I-140 documents.

On Average how much is it taking to get the receipt notice after concurrent filing of I-140/I-485/EAD/AP. I heard some people got receipt notice within 10 days, some people got it in 1 1/2 months. Similarly is there any strategy going on here too?

Please help with possible information available.

I have the same question. I am confused to which category I belong.

I am EB3 and I am not sure which one I should use E11, E21,E31.

Can some one throw some light on this one.

found the answer to the different categories

I-140 Types:


A=E1-1: First Preference Extraordinary Ability Worker
B=E1-2: First Preference Outstanding Professor or Researcher
C=E1-3: First Preference Multinational Executive or Manager
D=E2-1: Second Preference Advance Degree or Exceptional Aibility Worker
E=E31, E32: Third Preference Skilled Workers/Professionals

So EB2 will be E21
EB3 will be E31
