I am having H-1B visa which will expire by Aug 2005.
Another Employer has filed for Labour Certification for me in florida state.
When I checked the status, it is showing that my case has been transferred
to regional DOL (Atlanta) in the fisrt week of september 2004.
According to the Processing Times of Atlanta region currently they are
processing the cases of March 2003. So my turn may come after 18 months,
by that time my current H-1B will already be expired.
My queries are as follows.
1. Will my current Employer be able file for my H-1B Extension even though
another employer has filed for labour certification..?
2. Are there any chances that, my case will be evaluated before 18 months...?
