I have an intriguing question about processing times at USCIS centers. If I go to https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp and select say Nebraska, it shows me the processing dates for applications submitted to this center
Starting April 2006 USCIS announced "bi-specialization" according to which Nebraska and Texas service centers will process I-140/I-485/I-131/I-765 (bascially all the immigrant visas) and Vermont and California would process all I-129 (Non-immigrant visas)
My question is, why do we still see I-129 with a date in Nebraska service center processing times page. For example, as of today Nebraska processing time page shows that, it is processing H1B that were applied on or before May 14, 2006. Same with California where it still shows dates for processing I-140s (whereas it should only be processing I-129s per bi-specialization requirements). What am I missing?
