Processing time

I am new to this forum and have questions. Got my asylum in Oct 1999, filed the I-485 in Dec 2000 and still waiting. Did fingerprinting in April this year and finished medical exam and sent it in May. When can I expect to get my green card? I see that some of that filed I485 in Oct 2000 have been receiving green cards now... Should I expect to get it within next few months. Also, what is the procedure? IS there an interview? Can they reject my application and I don't get the GC? Please help. Thanks

If everything goes well, you should expect the approval within 2-3 months. Whoever got approval on this board so far, nobody had go to go for an interview but again every case is different.
