Background: US Citizen filing for child (under 21) I - 130
On 5th September I received an RFE asking for a birth Certificate, I sent it on the 10th of September, and today I received an email they have received the required documents (14th September).
Now: How long until it gets approved at the USCIS, as my child will be turning 21 in December ( I know CPA applies, but not when it is sent to the NVC) how long should I expect until it gets approved and how much time does it take to be sent to the NVC after that period?
Once it has been approved and sent to the NVC and assigned a case number, I will be sending them an email about expeditted processing but I am just wondering how long it until it gets approved and sent.
Anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: Service center is California, and most likely NVC is the one in Montreal, Canada.
