Processing Time Plus 30 days Time Frame

My RD is May 25, 2001 and TSC is currently processing June 13, 2001. I called NCS and here is what I heard,

"You need to add 30 days to the processing time. When the processing time has reached June 25, 2001 then we will make an enquiry. Right now your application is under process."

I called NCS and it said your estimated wait time is 5 minutes but took 35 minutes before someone came online. Every time I talk to NCS I get different answer for the same question.

Has anyone heard this 30 day window?

I am in the same boat, RD 5/24/01 and ND 8/16/01.

The date INS claims they are processing is probably the ND. We will have to wait till they announce the next date and start calling.

Meanwhile, please send requests to your local senators / congressmen requesting their help.

I suspect our hapless pile of May 01 applications still remains unattended while we see lots of Nov / Dec 01 approvals posted here.

I had to call them regarding my I-765 and was given the same answer (Wait for 30 more days after the date has crossed your RD). Before the end of 30-day window, I got it approved.
 
enquiry has started

My receipt date is dec 17th 2003 and the current processing date is January 23 2004 (more than 30 days). So, I called the 800 number and requested for an enquiry.

Does anyone know what could be the problem? or does anyone have any experience with this?
