Processing time for GC for parents

Processing time for GC for parents of US citizen

Does anyone here, who are US citizens, sponsored their parents for GC? How long does the process take?

Parents are in India and planning for consular processing. That means, I should file 1-130 in Chennai consulate, correct?

Any pointers appreciated.
