Processing green card and working from outside US

Hi,

I have a question and request your help and advice.

I will be completing my 6 years of H1-b quota this year May.
I applied for my green card and the labour is not yet cleared.
My company is planning to shift my job OffShore.

What should I or my company do in case I want to continue my green card processing and have a valid status in US while I am working from OutSide US for the same company.

If I am not wrong you mean that I should keep extending my visa for 7th year then 8th year till I get my GC. Also should I run the payroll in US or can I get it from OutSide. What role does Pay stub and W2 play in this case.
