NBC Processing date updated August 3rd....slowly but surely!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah...it does not make sense though...in half a month on I-131 (AP) they have only moved like 5 days...this is bs...I mean are those dates real?? Honestly I cannot wait another 1.5 months till they get to my application and then another 30 days till they process it.... and then of course you hear about these people who got their APs like within 60 days...I mean what is going on???

They've only moved a few days in half a month on processing EADs. Yet people who filed weeks after the date shown already have theirs, some have interview letters, and some have nothing. For all the good it will do me, I'm going to call.

How does this make Sense?

Not to belabor the point, but look at this and tell me what sense it makes. It seems to me like going through the "NSC" is SLOWING things down for some, not speeding it up.

For instance, The NSC is supposedly processing I-765/EADs for May 8, 2006. However, my District Office (Memphis) is processing I-765s from June 8, which is well after my receipt date.

Texas (where my I-130 is supposedly pending) is processing 130s from February of 2006. However, Memphis (who supposedly will processing my husband's I-485) is processing August 7, 2005.

I don't get it.

Edit: I got through to someone at the Call Center very quickly. She told me to call back on Day 75 from my Receipt Date (which is 7 days away) and they would look into the case status. She tried to tell me my Receipt Date was June 6, which is the Notice Date. I told her the RD was clearly marked as May 29 and she said ok, then 75 days from then. So we'll see.

Under what circumstances do the DO's process I-765 though? I thought pretty much everyone these days had to submit I-765 to the NBC, so its hardly surprising they're processing them fast at the DO's, because the volume will be very low (renewals only?)

Exactly, LOL. Clear up one place only to backlog another :) Evidently, they do process "some" I-765s, or the Priority Dates wouldn't be listed. I have no idea what kind of cases go there, however.

I just read through the I-765 instructions and it looks like the only people who file at DO is people granted Asylum, and to be honest I'm not even sure about that. Everyone else either goes to Chicago Lockbox or one of the Service Centers.
