Processing date. Does it suggest priority date or the filing date?

Hi Everyone,

Since the processing dates for I-485 at VSC have jumped to Feb. 15, 2006, I was wondering if it's a good thing to enquire about my pending case at the VSC. My PD is December 5, 2005 (EB1) but I have filed my I-485 on June 1, 2006. Are the processing dates according to the PDs (Labor or I-140 applications) or filing dates (I-485 applications, if applied separately)?

If you look at the table https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=Vermont you can see "Now Processing Cases with Receipt Notice Date of"

So, it is an I-485 Notice Date

If a case has a receipt # and this case is transferred to another Service Center and then tranferred back to the same original place. Can USCIS take the day of transfer as a new receipt #?
