I-485 will continue as long as your AP ia valid and GC sponsorer agrees to employ you (in USA) after GC approval. Technically, it really does not matter whether you work for same company or different company.
But keep in mind that, once you work at India for long time, your I-485 can get more scrutiny because that will raise concern if the LC position (in USA) really exists at all.
