Process for longer permanant residents- help

Hi,

I just got my FP done on 7/18. My question is this...

If I was a permanent resident for 38 years (I am 39 years old), no criminal record. Is it easier for them to process or is it the same as everyone else?

Did your parents take the citizenship oath when you were a minor?
You may already be a citizen....

unfortunately they did not apply for Citizenship. ugh!
