I am in Peru. My son is a US citizen and sent the I-130 for my GC.
He just got the the notification that the form and check have been received. I have a receipt number. What is next? I would like to know exactly what happens next so that I can tell him. From what I have read, he will be asked to pay $80 for the Affidavit of Support, then he will be asked to send the Affidavit of Support, and as of then, I will get notifications here in Peru. Is this correct?
