Process for applying Green Card when on L1 visa

I am from India and presently living in Wichita Falls, Texas. I am here on L1 visa and my wife on L2 visa.

Please let me know the required documents and the process for filing an application for Green Card.

Please provide me with the following details: Application Fees for various documents, timeframe, necessary steps, useful web-sites, useful contact information etc..

Since you are on L1, you will need to ask your employer to file the GC petition for you. L1 is a dual intent visa so your employer should not have a problem filing one for you. You cannot self-petition it.

That's not necessarily true; somebody on L1 (or even H1B) can qualify for NIW or extraordinary ability and self-petition. But that's not common; I'm quite sure less than 5% of L1 holders would qualify for self-sponsorship. So rnallamilli needs to have a talk with his employer about the prospect of them sponsoring the GC.
