I am posting it because my post might help people to avoid confusion regarding getting married after filing i485. Hope it will help somebody
Here are the details
Started on Practical traing and got H1B at the end of 1998
Labor filed Sept 1999 (EB2 RIR)
Labor Approved June 2000
I140 Filed on June 2000 (never approved Lost or what happened don't know)
Second I140 Filed on March 2001
I140 Approved on Oct 2001
Lots of confusion to file or not fiel I485 spend one month to think here b/c at that time I was not married.
I485 Filed in Dec 2001(but still H1 was valid on passport travelled on H4 till 2004)
Got married in Feb 1, 2003
Got H4 for Wife in Feb 19 2003
Me and Wife Came back to USA March 2003 on H1/H4.
Appear for Specail Registration in April 2003 (since entered on H1 in Feb 2003 although I had AP also but if I used AP H1+H4 would be voided)
Apllied for I485 for Wife April 2003
My I485 approved on March 2004.
Wife's I485 approved on June 2, 2005.
