Process after submitting the forms

Once you submit 130/485/765, what is the process after that?

I got a letter for biometrics finger prints.

what does it mean? What happens after the biometrics?

Is the application approved or can I still get an RFE?

How long is the process from hereon?

After biometrics there may be an interview. A marriage-based case will definitely have an interview, others may or may not have an interview.

After the interview, sit and wait for the green card and approval notice to come in the mail. There may be RFEs at any time before approval.
