Procedure to withdraw N400

Please advise on what is the correct procedure to withdraw N400 application?

After my interview, I was asked to submit documentation supporting form N14, after which I got an oath letter. When I went for the Oath Ceremony, I was asked if I traveled out of country since the interview and I informed that I was out for 121 days. The office sent me back from the oath cermony. I have a received a letter asking me to bring all my documents to prove residency in US for last 5 year at the Detroit office. At this stage I want to withdraw my application for N400 since my intent to immigrate to the US has changed. I am currently out of th country and will be unable to go to Detroit office on 27-Jun-07, the scheduled date.

Regards,

Write to the DO, and state it is your intention to withdraw your application. If you don't attend the second interview or send the RFE material by the due date, your case will be administratively closed anyway.

I would just write.I agree with the findings of the IO and at this time would like to withdraw my application for Naturalisation.
