I would appreciate if you can answer to the query below.
I am in my 6th year of H1-B which is expiring on Sept 30, 2013.
My priority date is Feb 2012.
Current employer has applied for H1 B extension by normal process (not premium) on April 29 2013. Still waiting for approval.
What would be the procedure for me to change the employers while retaining the priority date? Is it possible to change the employer at all?
I read the forums but information is quite confusing.
Please help me understand the process.
