Does anyone know the procedure for submitting an Amended I-140 petition after RFE from CSC Re: Company name change due to merger? Any help would be appreciated.

i am recounting one of the experiences of one of my colleagues. The attorney said they would file the
change in name successor documents as response to the RFE or the other attorney said if it was not a
simple change in name or it was a merger , they would file the LC in the new company\'s name and the copy of the LC would
be sent as answer to the RFE ( LC need not be necessarily approved )

In my case my attorney filed a new I140 just as the original but the LC was in the name of the original employer name. The attorney also explained in detail that my job responsibilties etc are still the same and got it signed by our HR manager and notarised.
Let me know if u need any other info.
