What is the right procedure for correcting the errors on I-140 approval notice ?. I see some folks in this forum (Endeavour2003, KGY) filed an "amended I-140 appication" for correcting the classification (EB3 to Eb2) errors.

In my case the PD got messed up in the I-140 approval notice.

Does any one know what is the right procedure for correcting the PD errors ?. My attorney just sent all the supporting documents (such as copy of original labor certificate etc..) to USCIS for correcting the PD error. We have not heard anything yet from USCIS for 2 months.

I feel like this might not be the right procedure for correcting the PD errors. Do we need to file an amended I-140 application for PD errors also ?.

Appreciated very much for any feedback from folks in this forum.

Received updated I-140 approval notice with correct PD

My attorney confirmed yesterday that they received an updated I-140 approval notice with correct priority date.

This is the procedure my attorney had chosen for correcting the PD error on I-140 approval notice.

1. Sent all the supporting documents to USCIS CSC center to prove the original substitute labor PD.

2. After seeing no action from USCIS on this for 3months, attorney sent an email to CSC-XII.140@dhs.gov about inquiring the status of PD correction.

3. Received update I-140 approval notice 4 weeks after sending the email inquiry.
