AP Valid till 07/07/2005
My AP is valid till 07/07/2005 ... does that mean I can come back before 07/07 without a problem. How long can I stay in US (I94 date) after I come back??

You are on AOS(filed 485) - so I-94 date is immaterial for you. You can stay in USA till your 485 is adjudicated. Didn't get I94 on AP yet .. my question is will they give I94 date as 07/07/2005 or one year from entry date.

Take all copies of AP while flying out of USA. On your way back, you will have to show it to officer at POE. They will put a stamp on it after secondary inspection. It is your entry document into USA once you are on AOS.PeterDatte said:What is the procedure for using AP.

You'll get I 94 when you enter US. The I 94 date will be 1 year from the entry date. That does not mean your AP is valid till that date. Your AP will be valid only till the date given on the document.

You don't have to take all your copies. Like everyone else has mentioned, the dates on the AP allow you to enter the US on a AOS status. At the point of entry if you mention you have more than one AP they might take the one otherwise they will stamp the AP and make a copy for themselves.

2AP RD/ND 12/29/04, RFE photo rcv 3/22/05, LUD 3/28/05.
No news from AP. I am getting nervous. I was planning to visit my family after 5 yrs and to fly in 3 weeks. I have to buy the tickets ASAP. They are getting expensive and no seats are available.
Any advise?
What should I do?
-Wait a couple of days?
-Contact the congressman?
-Take a day of and go to ATL DO for Emergency AP?
-Other
