Hello,
My I-140 and 485 was filed together before 4 months by my employer. My I-140 was approved about a week back. As the current conditions of the company is not good, they have decided to lay me off. So they sent me a notice saying they would be revoking/ withdrawing my I-140. My questions are
1. Does anyone know the time taken to revoke I-140 in the Vermont Service center?
2. The procedure for revocation/withdrawal by the center?
3. Is it possible for me to use the AC-21 now?

Has anyone been through such a situation? It would be of great help if anyone help me out of this!!
Thanks

I feel very sorry for you. Do not lose any hope, anyway if they are going to revoke your approved 140, look for another company who can you support you with AC 21 and apply for it. Also, apply for a labor with the new company in a Parallel way just as a backup. There are couple of people, who has applied for AC 21 before 140 approval and also against 140 revocation. Just give a try, you may be lucky, even though law says you cannot use AC21 before 180 days, but I would say still give a try. You are not going to lose anything. All the best,

I agree, still give it a try. it does not seem to be possible to extend your employment for the next two months? The company sucked.
