problems with one spouse filing for citizenship

Is there a problem if only one spouse files for citizenship while the other chooses to remain a GC holder? Lets say in future if the couple moves to another country and one spouse relinquishes GC, will he/she be eligible for dependent GC again (as the person is married to a citizen)?

Absolutely.
Filing for citizenship is not a requirement, it's an option.
And as long as the two are still married, there's no problem in getting another green card, besides a few months of wait outside the US.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a visa for spouse's of US citizens? I thought K visa was only for fiancees.
