Problems with 7th year extension

My H1 expired on Sep03. We did file for seventh year ext on Aug 21st Premium Process. The petition was returned (Signature looks like phto copy reason) yesterday. Sent the petition back the same day what's my status and will i get an H1 with I94. If they give a H1 no I94 is it a must that i go back to Chennai. I just had a long fight with Chennai for my wifes visa (my other posts)and donot want to go back there again. MyEAD is still pending at NSC, RFE for colour Photo ID'd received by NSC on 28th August. Help me on this one

Firstly, post in the H1-6th year expiring forum. More people will respond.

The petition was returned from where?

Why was it returned?

If it is approved your H1 approval will come with a new I94.

You can get the visa revalidated in US or in Chennai (if you go back).

Here are the Details
1) Sent the application to VSC.
2) VSC rejected the appliaction saying the signatures look like phot copied
3)Took more that 10 days to get back the appliaction.
4) Resubmitted the application again.

I would think that you will get your H1 and I - 94, provided VSC does not crib about out of status between 9/3 and yest. I do not know if this will be an issue at all.
